Cancer Teaching and Curriculum Enhancement Resources
The Goal of the CATCHUM Project is to promote and advance cancer prevention and control
education for undergraduate medical students. This Consortium of 8 Texas Medical Schools
is dedicated to developing, implementing and evaluating state-of-the-science education to ensure
that every medical student has an opportunity to become and effective agent for cancer prevention
and control. The site includes OSCE cases, PBL guidelines and other educational resources.

The American Medical Association has developed a workshop curriculum to train
physicians to talk about sex and sexuality with patients. Provided are copies of a plenary
session, two of the special topic break out sessions, a sample sexual history, and

The End-of-Life Physician Education Resource Center (EPERC)
EPERC is a central repository for educational materials and information about end of life
(EOL) issues. The purpose of EPERC is to assist educators and others in locating high-
quality, peer-reviewed training materials. This site supports the dissemination of
information on EOL training materials, publications, conferences, and other opportunities.
